ADAPT (Anger and Domestic Abuse Prevention and Treatment) is Aeriel Recovery Services' domestic abuse education and intervention program designed to help participants better understand harmful behaviors, take accountability for their actions, and develop the skills needed to build healthier, violence-free relationships.



ADAPT is offered entirely through a secure virtual group format, making programming accessible and easier to fit into everyday responsibilities.

What Does ADAPT Focus On?

Throughout the program, participants explore topics designed to increase awareness, accountability, and positive behavior change, including:

  • Recognizing unhealthy, abusive, and controlling behaviors
  • Understanding the impact of domestic abuse on partners, children, families, and communities
  • Taking responsibility for personal choices and behaviors
  • Identifying triggers and patterns that contribute to harmful behavior
  • Developing emotional regulation and anger-management skills
  • Building healthy communication and conflict-resolution skills
  • Understanding boundaries and healthy relationships
  • Developing empathy and greater awareness of the impact of one's actions
  • Creating strategies for lasting behavior change
  • Building skills that support safe, respectful, and violence-free relationships

Individualized Program Tracks

ADAPT offers multiple program tracks designed to address different levels of need. Program placement may be based on referral information, court requirements, and other relevant factors.

Convenient Virtual Programming

ADAPT groups are provided virtually, allowing participants to attend programming from a private location with internet access without the additional barriers of traveling to an in-person program.


Court & Community Referrals Welcome

ADAPT can serve individuals referred by courts, probation, corrections, attorneys, and other community partners, as well as individuals seeking appropriate programming independently.

Men’s Lower-Risk Domestic Abuse Education Program (6 weeks)

ADAPT Comprehensive

Men’s Higher-Risk Domestic Abuse Intervention Program (12 weeks)

Women’s Domestic Abuse Intervention Program (8 weeks)

Program Pricing:

Men’s Foundations (Lower Risk)

$40 per group session

Total Program Cost: $240

Men’s Comprehensive (Higher Risk)

$40 per group session

Women’s Connections

$40 per group session

Participants may choose one of the following payment structures:


Pay Per Session

$40 per scheduled group session

Payment due prior to attendance

Pay in Full

  • Full program fee paid at enrollment
  • Ensures uninterrupted participation and program completion tracking

Split Payments

  • Equal installments are established at intake and scheduled throughout the duration of the program.
  • Full payment must be completed prior to the issuance of a certificate of completion.
